The international consortium of the ChemiNova project, a Horizon Europe-funded initiative, met in Valencia from 25 to 28 November 2025\u202fto hold its\u202f<\/span>General Assembly<\/span><\/b> and<\/b><\/span> conductthe\u202f<\/span>evaluation of the tools<\/span><\/b> and the Open event.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n The Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia (UVEG) was the main host, with activities taking place at the Faculty of Geography and History\u202fand the historic La Nau Cultural Centre. The meeting was crucial for accelerating the protection of Cultural Heritage <\/span>against the impacts of climate change and human hazards.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>The first two days were dedicated to the <\/span>a <\/span>comprehensive review of progress across all Work Packages<\/span>. Strategic discussions were held in working groups on database architecture, software applications, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and communication activities. A central focus of the Assembly was defining strategies to address project objectives related to climate change, aimingto highlight and capitalise on existing knowledge regarding its impact on cultural heritage.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The central and most practical part of the event was the\u202f<\/span>validation of the ChemiNova tools<\/span><\/b>\u202fat the La Nau Cultural Centre.\u202fUsing selected heritage assets\u202f<\/span>in situ<\/span><\/i>, such as the painting Lola Flores and the cloister ornamental fontain, partners carried out systematic testing of the entire digital suite:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Participants completed assigned tasks and usability evaluations\u202f, generating detailed feedback that was immediately consolidated to define the necessary adjustments and recommendations forimprovement of the interactive tools.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The meeting culminated with a successful\u202f<\/span>Open Event<\/span><\/b>\u202fat La Nau on the afternoon of 28 November. The aim was to mobilise the community and raise awareness of the impact of climatechange and human hazards on CH.
