About the Event
The ChemiNova Open Event is a public engagement initiative organised within the framework of the European project ChemiNova, coordinated by the Universitat de València. Following the success of our first Open Event, this second edition brings ChemiNova’s mission to Palermo, demonstrating how science and culture work together to safeguardEurope’s cultural heritage from contemporary challenges such as climate change and human‑induced conflict.
The event showcases the project’s commitment to involving the public and local communities in understanding and protecting cultural heritage through interactive experiencesand innovative digital tools.

What to Expect
During the Open Event, participants will have the opportunity to:
