The countdown is on! Next week, ChemiNova will launch its second pilot activity in Vienna, bringing science, digital technologies and community engagement closer to the public.
On 22 September 2026, we invite you to join us at the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace for a free and interactive afternoon exploring how innovative technologies and citizen participation can contribute to protecting Europe’s cultural heritage.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors will be able to explore different activity stations and experience first-hand how researchers, conservators and technology experts are working to study, monitor and protect cultural heritage.

The event is suitable for children, families, students and adults, with activities designed for participants aged 8 and above. All activities will be conducted in English.

The meeting and registration point is Apothekertrakthof. Participants should enter through Meidlinger Tor, turn right and follow the signs to the Apothekertrakthof, where the registration will take place before participants are guided to the event area.

In case of good weather, activities will take place in the Orangeriegarten. If weather conditions are unsuitable, the event will move indoors to Rooms 4 & 5.
