
On 18 November 2024, ChemiNova joined the online cluster event titled “Advanced Technologies for Remote Monitoring of Heritage Monuments and Artefacts,” organized by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) under the European Commission. This event was organized by the REA European Research Executive Agency, established by the European Commission, and included EU projects under the same Horizon Europe HORIZON-CL2-2023-HERITAGE-01 call, including ARGUS, Nerites, and iPhotoCult.
The event opened with an overview of the European Commission’s policy priorities, setting the stage for dynamic discussions. Each participating project had the opportunity to present its innovative approaches to addressing challenges in heritage preservation. ChemiNova’s ten-minute presentation highlighted its advanced solutions, focusing on mixed reality tools, 3D modeling, and AI-driven systems for monitoring and safeguarding cultural heritage sites. A lively Q&A session followed each presentation, offering opportunities for feedback and knowledge exchange.
The session concluded with an open dialogue on potential future collaborations and creating a sustainable ecosystem for cultural heritage research and innovation.
