ChemiNova was represented at the IEEE International Conference on Cyber Humanities 2026, held in Venice, Italy, from 7–9 September.
On 8 September, Esperanza Villuendas participated in Session 17 (ARGUS), presenting the paper “From Capacity Building to Citizen Monitoring: A Participatory Methodology for Cultural Heritage in the EU Horizon ChemiNova Project”.
The presentation introduced ChemiNova’s participatory methodology for capacity building and citizen monitoring, highlighting the importance of community involvement in the protection and conservation of cultural heritage.
We would like to congratulate Esperanza for representing ChemiNova at this international conference and for sharing the project’s work with an international audience.
We would also like to congratulate and thank our sister project ARGUS for bringing together this session and creating a valuable space for exchange around digital technologies, participation and cultural heritage.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase ChemiNova’s work and contribute to the wider conversation on the role of communities and digital innovation in the future of cultural heritage.
